Gainful Employment Information

Educational institutions that offer Gainful Employment programs are required to publish specific data about each of these programs for prospective students.  The purpose of these disclosures is to help students make informed decisions about enrolling in a specific program.  The disclosures include information on program costs, published program length, on-time completion rate, placement rate for program completers, median loan debt for students who complete programs, and occupations related to the programs.

Placement Rates and Placement Rate Methodology

Cosmetology
Learn the art and science of beautifying hair, skin and nails in a state-of-the art, working salon set-ting. Course includes
  • Hair, Scalp Care,
  • Make-up, Skin Care
  • Manicure and Pedicure Services, Artificial Nail Enhancement
  • Sanitation & Bacteriology
  • Reception & Communication Skills
  • Salon Operations, Cosmetology Laws & Rules.

Upon completion, you will be prepared for your state board exam and a career as a hair stylist, nail technician, make-up artist, esthetician or salon owner.  Class size limited to 22 student.

Esthetician
Prepare for one of the fastest growing fields in the country! This course prepares you to perform skin analysis, facials, waxing, body treatments and use of electrical machines, and includes salon management and retail sales. Career opportuni-ties include working in salons and day spas, dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon offices, resorts and cruise ships.  Class size limited to 22 students.

Medical Assisting
Medical Assisting is one of the fastest-growing allied health careers, offering wonderful opportunities for advancement! Certified Medical Assistants work in high-demand areas such as physicians' offices, outpatient clinics, laboratories and urgent care centers. Benefits from real world training with onsite, supervised clinical hours and a 200 hour non-paid externship in a local medical facility. This program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) on recommendation of the Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB). Training with this program includes the AAMA CMA Certification Examination. College credit is available upon successful completion of the program and passage of the CMA exam.  Class size limited to 25 students.

Precision Machine Technology
Plan now for a future in Tool and Die CNC, Mold Making and many other metalworking trades. This program will get you started towards a rewarding career in metalworking with the employer-preferred National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS) certification.

Currently, there are many positions open for skilled metal-workers in this region, and demand is expected to increase even more as the current workforce retires. This program provides hands-on experience with Machining, Blueprint Reading, GD&T, CMM, Shop Math, CNC, Tooling, Measuring, Safety, Metallurgy and Work-Based Instruction.

Our program consistently connects 90-100% of its graduates to jobs in our area! Students participate in a work-based experience in a local manufacturing company and even earn college credit.  Class size limited to 20 students.
