Culinary Arts Instructor Honored with ACF President's Award

Chef Jordan Krystowski with the American Culinary Federation (ACF) Cleveland Chapter President’s Award

Jordan Krystowski, Lorain County JVS Culinary Arts instructor, was recently awarded the American Culinary Federation (ACF) Cleveland Chapter President’s Award. The recognition came during an evening dedicated to celebrating the talents of local chefs, students, and ACF Cleveland Chapter members.

The President’s Award, presented at the president's discretion, recognizes individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the culinary industry but may not typically receive widespread recognition.

A member of the ACF since her days as a culinary arts student at LCJVS, Krystowski’s involvement in the local chapter has grown over the past five years. The ACF Cleveland Chapter is a platform for industry professionals to gather, collaborate, and advance their craft. Krystowski actively involves her students in monthly meetings and volunteer initiatives.

In response to receiving the award, Krystowski expressed gratitude, stating, “I am beyond lucky to have been recognized for doing a job I am so passionate about. This award embodies my daily passion for ensuring the next generation of chefs are knowledgeable, hardworking, and inspired to continue to build upon the foundation laid forth by myself and other culinary professionals within the ACF. It is important to me that my students are taking part in the ACF because they are being exposed to current industry trends, potential employment opportunities, and knowledge that will advance them in the industry.”

Lorain County JVS celebrates Krystowski’s dedication to culinary education and her commitment to fostering the growth of future chefs and congratulates her on receiving this award.
