    Students Excel at Business Professionals of America Competition

    Students in the Marketing and Management and Network Communications Technology programs recently excelled at the Business Professionals of America (BPA) state competition.

    Students that competed are listed by their associate schools. Three student will advance to the national competition in mid-May in Dallas, Texas. Their names are underlined below.

    COLUMBIA
    Elizabeth Henning, Marketing and Management junior placed 7th in the Extemporaneous Speech event

    FIRELANDS
    Casey Koepp, Network Communications Technology senior placed 3rd in the Computer Security event and will advance to the national competition; Brian Smith, Network Communications Technology senior placed 4th in the Systems Administration using CISCO event and will advance to the national competition

    KEYSTONE
    Mollie Snyder, Marketing and Management junior placed 5th in the Entrepreneurship event

    MIDVIEW
    Ariel Kluding, Marketing and Management junior placed 1st in the Business Law and Ethics event and will advance to the national competition

    NORTH RIDGEVILLE
    Ben Ward, Network Communications Technology senior placed 6th in the Computer Network Technology event

    Business Professionals of America a Career and Technical Student Organization for students pursuing careers in business management, information technology, finance, office administration and other related career fields.
