Students in the IMT program at LCJVS learn many aspects of media production including:
Design & layout basics
Digital audio recording & editing
Digital video recording, editing & effects
Computer graphics & animation
Introduction to photography & composition
Interactive CD-ROM & DVD layout & design
In the past few years IMT students have participated in:
Writing and producing radio spots for the Lorain County Tech Prep Consortium
Summer Internships in Web design, Radio & TV production
Video production for local schools & cable stations
Photography & digital touch-up for school administrators & other community members
Tours of Cleveland network TV and Radio stations,
Tours of both major newspapers in Lorain County
IMT graduates have, or are currently:
Studying at Lorain County Community College
Attending BGSU (programs include graphic design & animation)
Attending & working for the Art Institute of Pittsburgh (an IMT graduate currently works in the Marketing department)
Attending ITT Technical Institute in various programs
Studying at Kent State & Ohio University
Working for Auto Trader Magazine in IT and Layout departments (student also attends ITT-Tech)
Working in the Advertising dept. for MGI (Marcs)
